About

History

When it was started few years ago in 2000, with three members, Phimega Systems was established to be a small start up company in embedded system area. The first project was universal parallel port extension for PC, which was supposed to be our next development tool for various microcontroller projects, the hardware was finished but the extended function of the device was never continued.

The second project was LED dot matrix moving message display for local water company, which was also the first commercial project. In the middle of development phase, one member leaved the group, which nearly brought the company to the end. However the project was cotinued by its two members. Albeit it was developed in a garage, it was successfully completed and installed at the customer site.

Then after the project, another member also leaved the company to pursue his dream. Being ran by a single person, Phimega Systems was going to its lowest point and was then hibernated. Few years later in 2003, it was brought to on-line with phimega.com domain. Although not very active, an on-line forum (Mnemonic) was set up as discussion room for embedded system and software development enthusiasts.

Current

Currently Phimega Systems still exist in on-line form and had completed several commercial projects in part time. The projects were Security Patrol Checker System using Maxim Dallas iButton and Microchip PIC16F873 microcontroller and CPH (Counter Per Hour) Meter for newspaper printing machine using PIC16F873 microcontroller.

Although only part time based, Phimega Systems will continue to exist doing commercial or non-commercial embedded system projects.
